All rentals are subject to location, eligibility and availability.

Hirer / Driver basic eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • You must be aged between 25-65*
  • Have held a full UK DVLA driving licence for at least 3* years
  • Possess an appropriate Taxi / Private Hire Licence*
  • Have minimum 2* years UK residence
  • Have no more than 6* penalty points in the last 3* years for minor convictions
  • Have no major convictions in the last 5* years
  • Have no disqualification from driving in the last 5* years
  • We may also sign you up at your home address before we deliver the vehicle as part of ID verification.
*These criteria may differ from location to location. We will also perform an appropriate licence check with the DVLA, your local licensing authority and anti-fraud agencies. We and / or our insurance underwriters reserve the right to refuse service at any time without giving reason or notice. Further T&C’s apply.

PHV Rental FAQ’s

Rent a Uber approved PHV car from just £165/pw and minimum rental is 4 weeks.
Yes. Every car is Uber approved and ready to go.
Our minimum rental period is 4 weeks and continues on a rolling with 4 weeks intervals.
We only ask for a £200 deposit. This is a refundable deposit and is refunded after you return the vehicle.

Provided you’ve passed our basic eligibility criteria, you’ll need:

  • First Weeks Rent plus Deposit from £200
  • Taxi / Private Hire Licence Certificate and Badge
  • DVLA Photocard Licence
  • Recent Utility Bill or Bank Statement (must match DVLA address)

You’ll need at least 3 months Taxi or Private Hire driving experience to be eligible for our Rent To Buy scheme.

We accept all major cards. Direct debit is not accepted and we don’t accept American Express or Diners Cards.

Normally we can accept up to 6 points on your licence.

We recommend to call us before visiting if you have any major convictions.

No These are no Millage Restrictions.

Unfortunately if you’ve had two or more fault accidents, we won’t be able hire a PHV vehicle from us.

No, you’re more than welcome to use other companies with our PHV cars.
Fully Comprehensive ‘Hire and Reward’ cover is included as standard, but you have option to use your own insurance and your insurance must be fully comprehensive.
Yes, provided that you can prove that you already have suitable PHV Hire and Reward Fully Comprehensive insurance.
If we’ve provided cover, usually £350 depending on the vehicle and your circumstances but this will be clearly stated on your rental agreement.
Yes, please call us prior to your visit.
Car has to be collected and returned at our office.

You have to be at least 22 years old to rent a vehicle from us.

Additional charges may apply if you are under 25.

When your car requires a service just give us call to arrange appointment for servicing.

Every car is serviced at 8000 miles (unless stated otherwise). Your service includes; oil change, oil filter, air filter & pollen filter. Our servicing department even books you, saving you time and effort.
No. All maintenance and Recovery Service is included in your rental cost. There are no hidden extras.
Unfortunately not, All our vehicles are manufacture standard.
Please call us as soon as possible and retain the footage from DASH CAM. Take photos of the other vehicle and accident scene and obtain details for other driver. Accident must be than reported to Insurance with in 24 hours.
DASH CAM is there for your protection and to give you peace of mind, however please don’t rely on this and remember to always take down third party details and double check third party registration.
We can provide you with copies of all the relevant documentation you need. (PHV licence, insurance, MOT, etc)
Minimum rental is 4 weeks. Once your rental is stated you can not cancel. if you do cancel you will lose your Deposit.

You can cancel but you are require to pay Excess as per the rental agreement. You are allowed to use your Deposit. If the excess amount is grater than the deposit you have to pay the difference. 

No – At this time we only offer Hybrid and Diesel cars from manufacturers such as Toyota, Skoda, Hyundai and Kia.
Absolutely, your new car will be licensed and ready to use.
